About Me

I am a PhD candidate in the Visual Computing research group at the University of Rostock, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. sc. techn. ETH Oliver Staadt. My research focuses on perception-driven rendering, encompassing physically based rendering, deferred shading, and rasterization. My implementations target a range of display platforms, including XR headsets (VR and MR), holographic displays, large-scale display walls, and conventional desktop displays. I am currently expanding my research into real-time global illumination (ReSTIR, NRC), neural rendering and 3D Gaussian splatting. During my PhD, I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with the Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Weier, LAVIS Group, RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Germany, Visual Analytics research group at the University of Rostock, led by Prof. Stefan Bruckner, and the Visualization and Multimedia Lab at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, led by Prof. Renato Pajarola. Previously, I worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD) in Darmstadt, Germany, and at Nobicomms Ltd. in Espoo, Finland. I also served as a lecturer at Varendra University and Daffodil International University in Bangladesh. I was an Erasmus Mundus student in the M.Sc. program in Color in Informatics and MEdia Technology, studying at the University of Eastern Finland and Jean Monnet University in France. I earned my B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Shenyang University of Chemical Technology in China.
